DC Adventures Day 40 (3.22.13)

Day 40. I can't believe I've been here for 40 days. It doesn't feel like it - not even a little bit.

Getting to rest last night was WONDERFUL. I have a much better outlook on my last week now.

Work was same ol', same ol'. Ka & Leslie left early today. They'd been gone for about 30 minutes when I got a call from Ka asking me to grab a bag she'd left as well as Leslie's phones. I thought that was pretty funny because I'm attached to my phone - I feel nekkid without it. Yes, nekkid. I met Ka down in the horseshoe outside of Rayburn. It was pretty chilly. The wind, that is. Standing in the sun it felt great - until the cold wind would pick up and blow my scarf into my face. :) I didn't mind though because it gave me the chance to talk to KNicole for a little bit while I waited.

Mr. Hall left for Texas around 12p, which meant we got to leave at 5pm. I'm so glad I know about the trains now because it has been getting COLD at night. It's like the chilly wind, minus the warm sun. Yech.

As I left work, I got a call from a number I didn't recognize. The caller id said it was coming from Kansas - and I don't know anyone from Kansas. I answered, but it was just a bunch of beeps. I figured it was a wrong number, so I hung up and didn't think much about it.

Until they called again. And again. And again. I tried pushing numbers back...nothing. I tried calling the number...nothing. I ended up getting TWELVE calls in one hour. Ridiculous. Then, after the twelfth call...it just stopped.

I ate a quick dinner in the dining hall and spent the rest of the evening catching up on my shows on Hulu. I went downstairs and talked with eC, a friend I made up here, for a bit but now it's time to pass out.

Night everyone!

*Until Next Time!*
